Course Overview:

Florida's Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias Education and Training Act sets statewide standards for dementia training in care settings. This two hour home study course helps meet that requirement by providing caregivers with person centered knowledge of ADRD, how it differs from normal aging, practical care strategies, and guidance on working with families and care teams ensuring compassionate, compliant, and effective support for Floridians with dementia. THIS TRAINING PROGRAM HAS RECEIVED APPROVAL FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF ELDER AFFAIRS AND SATISFY. 430.5025 F.A.C. REQUIREMENTS.
